About Kora

Healthcare trust and booking infrastructure for Africa.

Kora is building an Africa-first public healthcare provider directory with source-backed trust signals and lightweight booking coordination for participating practices.

This page describes Kora’s current MVP operating model and may be updated as Kora expands. Kora will continue to review country-specific legal, privacy, and healthcare obligations with qualified counsel as launch markets are finalized.

What Kora is

Kora helps people discover public doctor profiles, understand available trust signals, and request appointments where a participating practice has enabled online booking.

What Kora is not

Kora is not a hospital, insurer, regulator, emergency service, or clinical care provider. Kora does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or replace a licensed healthcare professional.

Directory and trust layer

Kora organizes public provider information from registry, institutional, and provider-submitted sources. Verification labels are shown only where Kora has published public-safe supporting evidence.

Kora PM

For participating practices, Kora PM helps coordinate appointment requests and basic front-desk workflows. Providers remain responsible for patient care, scheduling decisions, and clinic operations.

MVP operating model

During MVP, Kora is intentionally conservative: public profiles, trust methodology, claim/listing review, and booking coordination are prioritized over broad healthcare platform claims.
